I’m a believer in the paranormal.

Prior to joining SIPA I have had no prior investigation experience into the paranormal.

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
I’ve always felt that there is something after life, but knew that not everyone made it to the other side, and I’ve always had an interest in finding out why they are still here.

What is your “day job”?
I’m a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and volunteer as a Firefighter, along with being a Borough Councilman.

Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If yes, explain.
I have personally had paranormal experiences in my own home prior to joining the team. Shortly after we moved into our house, what I thought was my wife walking into a room out of the corner of my eye was not as I would strike up a conversation with her and get no reply, she would leave the room and I would go out to get an answer and my wife would advise she wasn’t even in the same room with me. I have also seen the same person, the “lady in white” is what we’ve come to call her as she always seems to be in white, throughout the house entering rooms without opening the door.

Do you possess any special paranormal abilities such as psychic, sensitive/discernment of spirits, etc.
I don’t believe I possess any special paranormal abilities, I have had a strong sense of “others” being present at times.

Do you view yourself as a believer in the paranormal or a skeptic?
Not a skeptic, but I really don’t believe every sound or orb is something paranormal.

Do you have prior paranormal investigation experience? If yes, explain.
Previous experience prior to SIPA pretty much includes personal investigations of locations I have lived that had activity.

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
Previous experiences from my apartment gave me the kick I needed to start pursuing the unknown. Prior to that I have always had interest in ghosts and the paranormal.

What is your “day job”?

I used to work in a church where multiple strange things happened to me. Doors rattling when nobody was around and feeling as though I was being chased after.

I would not say special ability, but I am able to create a comfortable atmosphere for the spirits of young children to come through and communicate with us.

I do not have any previous investigation experience.

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.

Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If yes, explain.
Yes. I lived in a house growing up that doors would open and close on their own, I would hear heavy footsteps upstairs, and dishes would move across the counters in the kitchen. I was never afraid of the spirit, in fact, I always felt like the spirit was watching over me.

Do you possess any special paranormal abilities such as psychic, sensitive/discernment of spirits, etc.
Part of my interest in the paranormal is to explore those talents and discover the full extent of what they might be.

Yes, many. My first experience was one night shortly after my grandmother passed away I felt my bed be pushed down as if someone sat down next to me and I smelled her perfume.

I'm currently working on allowing the logical side of my brain to trust the intuitive side if my brain.

My favorite part of being involved in NEPA is the interaction with the various people, both the Team and the people we work with.  When we all discover, together, the things we never thought possible or real, it brings us together, even in our differences.

Do you view yourself as a believer in the paranormal or a skeptic?
I am definitely a believer.

Do you have prior paranormal investigation experience? If yes, explain.
Prior to joining SIPA, I worked with “spiritualists” on “house cleanings” (sage-ing, etc.).

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
I am fascinated by what is beyond this plane of existence.  What is outside of what we see?  Who is God? Jesus? I know they exist – I believe they exist – but how much of that box that we have created do they really fit in?

What is your “day job”?
SO different from this one!  I work with Human Capital Management Professionals on Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, State-by-State and other governmental regulatory agency guidelines regarding wage and hour and employment regulations and compliance.  I also work with businesses on bookkeeping, accounting and small business taxes.

As a child, I was surrounded by the paranormal.  Unfortunately, on my father’s side, there was quite a bit of involvement in the occult.  On my mother’s side, my great-grandfather was a “medicine man”, or just a crazy old coot, in Appalachia.  According to several Mediums, he hovers around me regularly.  My 2 Aunts (on my mother’s side) each have different sensitive abilities.

Do you possess any special paranormal abilities such as psychic, sensitive/discernment of spirits, etc.
I am more sensitive to “energy” (could I possibly have more “” in this bio?!).  I am definitely not an empath but can be a solid communication conduit.  If an entity has a strong presence, I can “see” them.

Favorite Part of Involvement of SIPA
My favorite part of being involved with SIPA is working with the group that has the same interests as me. Looking for answers and evidence that supports paranormal activity. I also look forward to learning how to better my investigation techniques.

Do you view yourself as a believer in the paranormal or a skeptic?
I am a bit skeptical at this time and that is why I am so interested in investigating. I also do not completely agree with the nonexistence of paranormal activity. I am keeping an opened mind and will do everything I can to find evidence that paranormal activity is real.

Do you have prior paranormal investigation experience? If yes, explain.
I have been on a few ghost hunts before with other organizations, but I was just another person in the crowd. I have been to Gettysburg, Eastern State Penn, and Pennhurst. I also have the privilege of investigating at an exclusive location that I cannot disclose. I purchased some of my own investigation tools such as an EMF meter, an SB7 Spirit Box, Maglite flashlights, and a full spectrum camera.

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
I was always interested in the things that could not be explained or were shrugged off as nonsense by others. The more I investigate the more passionate and anxious I’ve become to look for evidence. I like a lot of the tools used to collect evidence and some are so simple it helps with the validity of what is happening.

What is your “day job”?
I am currently employed by the state as a security officer.

Unfortunately, I have not been blessed with any abilities that make me sensitive to spiritual energy or to see and hear things that others cannot.
