Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If yes, explain.

Many small unexplainable events. Sounds and footsteps, doors closing, objects moving and disappearing in my old apartment. Shadows and strange sounds in my current house that was built in the 1860’s. 

Do you possess any special paranormal abilities such as psychic, sensitive/discernment of spirits, etc?

Just my eyes and my ears.

Being able to investigate with like-minded people.
  

Do you view yourself as a believer in the paranormal or a skeptic?

Not a skeptic, but I really don’t believe every sound or orb is something paranormal.
 

Do you have prior paranormal investigation experience? If yes, explain.

Previous experience prior to SIPA pretty much includes personal investigations of locations I have lived that had activity.
 

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
Previous experiences from my apartment gave me the kick I needed to start pursuing the unknown. Prior to that, I have always had an interest in ghosts and the paranormal.
  

What is your “day job”?

Wandering through the woods marking timber for the Bureau of Forestry.

When I was 10 I saw a full-bodied apparition and heard Victrola music.  Things were being tossed around in the attic and something sat on the edge of my bed.

NO.

I do believe but I’m very skeptical on what some people bring forward as evidence.  I like Proof.

To try to explain the unexplainable.  To get the proof of their existence.

Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If yes, explain.

Yes, many. My first experience was one night shortly after my grandmother passed away I felt my bed be pushed down as if someone sat down next to me and I smelled her perfume.

I’m currently working on allowing the logical side of my brain to trust the intuitive side of my brain.

I originally did not want to join SIPA, but Derrick coerced me to go on a few investigations, and I loved it.

My favorite part of the team is our shared belief in helping people.  I believe that we hold many of the same values, are inspirational, have the enthusiasm and a deep desire to help people feel safe, secure and unafraid in dealing with their experiences.

Do you view yourself as a believer in the paranormal or a skeptic?

I am a firm believer since I’ve experienced so many unexplained paranormal issues as well as documenting and reviewing paranormal situations.  However, I do believe that you should never jump to that conclusion and always try to see if there is a reasonable explanation for the issue.

Do you have prior paranormal investigation experience? If yes, explain.

I have been investigating on and off for approximately 10 years with my former partner – with most of our investigations being in Virginia.  We also worked with other scheduled investigators at different locations.
  

Explain why you wanted to be a paranormal investigator.

I have always wanted to help people and finally found a way to do this.
  

What is your “day job”?

I am a retired Bookstore Manager.

Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If yes, explain.

Yes, I have had many experiences with spirits and apparitions.  I would need to go back to my childhood for my first experience in seeing a woman in white at my bedside.  I have also dealt with a spirit that was connected to an object as well as a very kind man that made lots of noise in my house but was a gentle spirit.
  

Do you possess any special paranormal abilities such as psychic, sensitive/discernment of spirits, etc?

I am a sensitive as well as empathic.  I have had experiences that lead me to believe that I am a lightworker too.  These abilities are still being worked through as I have much to learn.
